At Black E.S.T.E.E.M., we understand our mission to be deeply intertwined with the work of anti-racism, anti-Black racism, anti-oppression, and equity. Our work goes beyond educating Black girls and building their STEM confidence. It is our duty to address and demand systemic change and justice. We believe that only with institutional change will Black women and girls have equal opportunities to access and succeed in STEM careers and learning spaces. We also have a duty to collaborate with other organizations, institutions, and sectors to help ensure that our vision of a racially just society for Black women and girls becomes a reality.

FOUR WAYS TO PARTNER
We are always thrilled to partner with businesses, thought leaders, and STEM- based organizations to create unique initiatives that allow Black girls to have immersive learning experiences and mentorship opportunities. We also work with our collaborative partners to develop content and strategies to help their businesses connect with young, Black, female audiences.
We recognize that many organizations, though well-intentioned, struggle to take anti-racist action. Our executive team offers training on anti-racist and anti-sexist curricula for learning institutions and equitable policymaking for organizations.
Your generous donation contributes to our capacity to reach our long-term goals.
These include building the Black E.S.T.E.E.M. Scholarship Fund to cover the tuition for Black girls pursuing post- secondary STEM studies and launching a Mobile STEM Lab to make Black E.S.T.E.E.M. programming available to girls all across Canada.

Black E.S.T.E.E.M. understands that it takes an expansive and intentional ecosystem to support a generation of Black girls who will flourish in STEM. That ecosystem includes a number of companies and organizations who play an integral role in reaching our goals and achieving our mission.
